Jambo! Airlink Adds Nairobi Night Flights

02 December 2024, Johannesburg – Airlink, Southern Africa’s premier airline, will add three weekly night flights to its Johannesburg-Nairobi service from 30 March 2025.

The extra flights provide greater choices for business and leisure travellers flying between the two cities and bolster Airlink’s daily service which it launched last year, when it became the first private sector airline to compete on the route.

Airlink’s flight schedule is designed to provide convenient connections, through its Johannesburg hub, with its domestic and regional services as well as with long-haul flights provided by its constellation of global airline partners.

“Kenya is an important market, and the route provides a vital connection between the two major hubs, stimulating bilateral and inter-regional travel, trade and economic activity. Airlink’s competitive and convenient flights will promote tourism in both markets,” explained Airlink CEO and Managing Director, Rodger Foster.

Airlink’s premium Business Class and great value Economy Class services are available on the route.

Airlink’s intra-continental Business Class service on its state-of-the-art Embraer E-jets features wide seats arranged in a two-plus-one abreast configuration with plenty of legroom between each row. Service includes complimentary meals and beverages, a 30kg check-in luggage allowance and priority boarding.

Economy Class fares include a 20kg free checked-in luggage allowance, however, full fare Economy (Y class) ticketholders may check-in up to 30kg of luggage at no charge. Onboard, customers are treated to a complimentary light meal and refreshments. Our cabins are designed for comfort with generous leg room and a choice of aisle or window seats – Airlink aircraft do not have middle seats.
